The very next day after Governor Romney lost the presidential election, Senator Rubio and his wife decided to move as to Washington DC as possible. They decided to sell their Miami home, and move to live permanently in Washington DC.
That decision sent shockwaves throughout the political system, with Miamians labeling the senator as a “Traitor” and “carpetbagger” for abandoning his home community to live in Washington. But almost a year later, the beautiful Miami home, has yet to find a buyer – and Rubio called it quits. According to a multiple listings search conducted by a Florida Real Estate licensed agent, Rubio listed the home for 675,000 on November 7, 2012, and in October lowered the price to 630,000 – yet was still unable to find a buyer.
Finally on December 26 – the day after Christmas, Rubio finally removed the home from active sale.

There has been speculation that Rubio couldn’t find the right property in Washington and is instead looking for another address in DC – 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Those living in the Miami “boogie-down” can expect to continue see Rubio at all of their favorite Cuban deli’s and bakeries. Rubio loves him some Cuban pasteles.
